Below is a quick guide over what the different bra and knicker styles are that we provide here at Boux. We love plunge bras here at Boux, with a low-cut ‘V’ shape neckline they can be flattering giving your cleavage a little boost, whilst offering comfort by giving your bust the support they need. Plunge bras suit most bust shapes and are our go to style when providing a bra fitting in store. Balconette bras, also known as balcony bras have a horizontal cup shape and a higher center front - this gives great support and provides an uplifted round shape to the bust! The straps tend to join from the side of the cup, rather than the front like most bras. This means the straps come slightly wider, making them great for low-cut necklines! A balcony or balconette bra is perfect for those with a larger bust.

Non-wired bras are bras without an underwire or any other bones. The bra support is provided by the cups and wings making them a super comfy bra style, whilst providing a more natural shape. Another favourite here at Boux are Bralette's, with some style offering a non-wired version, like our Boux Lounge bralette, which has to be without a doubt the comfiest bra you will ever wear!

These are the perfect lingerie tops and add a sexy style to your lingerie drawer. A Longline bra features an under band which extends down towards the waist. They provide more coverage than a usual bra or bralette. The longer length of this bra can accentuate your figure, making them very flattering, and fit in perfect with the trending corset style.

The summer and party season essential! Boux's strapless bras give the complete support of a normal bra, but without straps. Strapless bras are designed to hug the body, so all the support comes from the under band, ensuring there is no pesky slip downs and stays in place.

Sine the 90's Thongs have become a strong staple in the lingerie world. Thanks to their barely there style ensuring that there are no pesky VPL, and not forgetting they also add a lil’ bit of sex appeal to any look, we can see why thongs are soo popular with Boux customers, buying 1 pair every 23 seconds!

High waisted knickers have made a come back, people seem to be loving the extra coverage and support these knicker styles provide. We couldn't be happier that high waisted have made a come back as they are one of the most comfiest of knicker styles out there!

Shorts & Briefs are a classic knicker style and we are sure here at Boux that all of you have at least one of these styles in your lingerie drawer. It goes without saying that shorts and briefs offer more coverage than thongs. Boux's shorts are available in everyday classic cotton styles, or for something a little more sexier and chic, you can opt for a lace style. If you prefer something a littlie cheekier then briefs are the one, with a higher leg rise than shorts and not as much coverage. The main difference between French and Brazilian knickers is that whilst Brazilian knickers will have you bearing some bum (not quite as much as a thong!), French knickers are traditionally made from lace and provide similar coverage to knicker shorts.
